Attractive design but poor noise suppression These ear buds look very smart and are made of good quality materials. With four different sized ear canal seals, they can be made to fit very well in most ears, and they are easy to insert and are comfortable for hours of wearing. To be fair, they are not claimed to give high levels of noise suppression. However, I found that for sleeping, general background noise suppression etc, they have very little effect compared to not wearing them at all. Other may find them more effective, but for me, I won't be bothering to wear them any more.

High Quality Ear Buds These were higher quality and better made than I was anticipating. They come in a convenient carrying case and has different sized ear buds to fit your ears. They are comfortable to wear and are great for noise cancellation. I wore them to a concert with floor seats so the amplification of sound was very high. These ear buds worked well to muffle the intense sounds around me. I feel the current cost $33 is on par with most higher quality ear buds and feel the quality warrants the price. Overall, these are great earbuds and feel they are worth buying. I’m really impressed.

A premium ear plug experience — filters sound beautifully while keeping conversations audible Having tried a few ear plugs before, the EARMUFFZ caught my attention — and at £29.99 the presentation and quality make a strong case for the price. The unboxing experience sets the tone immediately. The ear plugs arrive housed in their own dedicated case that opens and closes with a deeply satisfying click — a small but considered detail that signals the premium nature of the product from the very first interaction. Fit wise, the default tip size worked comfortably straight away, which is always a reassuring sign. The inclusion of XS, S, M, and L size tips means there is a comfortable fit available for virtually every ear shape and size. The plastic housing is notably firm and may require a little adjustment to find the right position initially, but once the sweet spot is located they sit comfortably and securely without any discomfort during extended wear. The sound filtering performance strikes an impressively practical balance. Rather than blocking out all external noise entirely, they filter the majority of surrounding sounds while still allowing conversations to come through clearly — ideal for busy environments, commuting, or anywhere you want to reduce sensory overload without becoming completely disconnected from the world around you. A well designed and thoughtfully presented ear plug set that offers a genuinely useful and comfortable sound filtering experience.

turns sound down The main thing to note about these is that they aren't really earplugs. The SNR is only 19, compared to the 60 or so you would find in earplugs meant for use in industrial settings. If you're working in a noisy environment and are considering these then be aware they are almost certainly insufficient for PPE use. They are the genuine article and conform to all the standards, but the noise attenuation just is too low for properly noisy environments. So what are they for then? Well, what these do is just turn the volume down. You can still hear everything that you normally could, TV, conversation etc, but the volume is reduced. They just make life a bit quieter. They are comfortable enough to wear all day if you spend some time selecting the correct size so that you get a good fit in your ears, and after a while you don't notice you have them in. If you work from home with other people in the building going about their day they are really good for filtering them out and concentrating on what you're doing. They come in a little case to keep them secure, and there isn't really anything on them to break so they shoujld last a long a time assuming you don't lose them. The obsidean ones are quite subtle in the ear and hard to see so don't look unprofessional in a work environment. At £29 at time of writing they are definitely on the expensive side, but they are marketed as 'premium' and so that is what you are paying for. They do comply with all the standards so you know you are getting a legitimate product and not just some snake oil.
