A good option We got these to try and the main user of these would be my wife as she needs them to sleep at night. Sometimes she might wear ear plugs in the day as well. I’ve given them a go as well but they aren’t something I’d use often, more in a situation I’d specifically need to take them with me. These start off well as they are good quality and feel nice. And the best part is that they do everything right. You get four sizes and that makes it easy to find the right fit. And you might have to try each to be sure, sometimes a perfect fit actually isn’t. And then the noise levels do work but are more noticeable if the world is already quiet, as the difference is quite subtle. When wearing them they are discrete and okay to wear whilst sleeping. But one draw back is the loop earplugs. Frankly they just fit better, and more comfortable and blog sound better. You can’t adjust them and can need two sets, but they are better. For the cost these are okay. They do as they should but don’t best or match the competition. They have adjustable sound levels and that’s the main reason to get them over something else if that matters most to you. We’re happy with them.

Perfect for Gigs Without Ruining the Music I got these mainly for concerts and events as I wanted to protect my ears without everything sounding completely muffled. They're really comfortable and having four different tip sizes made it easy to get a good fit. They take the harsh edge off the volume while I can still hear the music clearly and have a conversation. I also love the little carry case as I can just leave them in my bag ready for nights out. Reusable, discreet and much nicer than the cheap foam ones I've used before! Perfect value for money.

Excellent Low-Profile Earplugs for Sleep, Crowds, and Everyday Noise Reduction I already own noise-isolating Bluetooth headphones, so at first I wasn’t sure whether I really needed a separate pair of reusable earplugs. I’m very glad I tried these because they fill a completely different role. The biggest advantage is simplicity. There is no Bluetooth connection, no battery, and no additional wireless signal involved. For sleeping, that matters to me. Occasionally there is outside noise at night, and I’ve found these comfortable enough that I can sleep on my side while wearing them. They reduce the distracting sounds enough to help me rest without the bulk of headphones or earbuds. I’ve also found them useful in noisy indoor environments where I don’t necessarily want complete isolation. For example, I’ve worn them at church during louder periods when I’m working on other activities and don’t need to be part of a conversation. Reducing the overall noise level can make a surprisingly large difference in how mentally tiring a busy environment feels. One of my favorite features is the adjustable attenuation. With the removable insert in place, they provide the higher level of noise reduction; removing it allows more sound through. In the lighter setting I can still have conversations without immediately needing to remove the earplugs, which makes them much more practical than conventional foam plugs. The carrying case is also exceptionally nice. It is very small—roughly half the size of an AirPods-style case—and has a polished magnetic opening that makes the whole product feel much more premium than I expected. They are also very discreet. Because they sit low in the ear, they are not particularly noticeable, which makes them useful in settings where I wouldn’t want to wear obvious hearing protection. I would absolutely bring these to concerts, crowded events, travel situations, or anywhere with prolonged background noise. Compared with the disposable foam earplugs I’ve used over the years, these are dramatically more comfortable and secure for me. Foam plugs have often worked their way loose or popped out, while these stay seated much more reliably. Overall, this has turned out to be one of those accessories I didn’t realize I would use so often. They provide meaningful noise reduction without completely disconnecting me from my surroundings, and the combination of comfort, adjustability, discreet design, and excellent case makes them feel like a worthwhile investment.

Very Comfortable These EN 352 certified hearing protectors are comfortable to wear and help to prevent outside noise whilst sleeping. They do no stop all noise but reduce what can be heard. Traffic noise, snoring and general background noise are dealt with. They are perfect for use with the ear on the pillow as they sit inside the outer ear and made of soft silicone. They come with four different size ear tips to ensure comfort and sealing.

Good ear plugs for middle sound range blocking (chatter to moderate snoring) Full disclosure- I have a lot of earplugs. For sensory issues, focus, ignoring the sleeping husband, etc. I also have smallish ears (nothing ridiculous but slightly smaller than average). These are probably my second favorite pair of earplugs. Pros: you can actually tell the difference in sound blocking between the levels, so the highest blocking level I can use to mostly muffle out snoring and the lightest level I can use to focus on a book while my toddler is in the play room (I don’t want to ignore him completely, but I also don’t need to be looking up at every exclamation of “truck!” When he’s playing a game IYKYK). They have multiple ear piece sizes (most do these days), so you can find ones that fit your ear canal best (small for me though they have ones for XS-L). They are durable feeling and do come in a case that’s hard for my kid to open. Cons: the shape is a bit large for my ears, so they dig in a bit if I’m having a restless night. That’s probably down to the shape of your ears- if you have normal sized or larger ears, the plastic bit likely won’t dig in. The “transparent” level advertised isn’t really transparent- you can hear louder sounds but soft ones like music playing on low get blocked out on the transparent level. The highest level isn’t super blocking either. I didn’t expect it to be given the decibel rating, but fyi- it will not block out heavy snoring completely or like concert noise. They aren’t that kind of hearing protection. And like all ear plugs, the case is small and will be easily lost. It does not have a strap or a place to put one on it either to attach it to something else. Overall, a solid set of ear plugs and the best ones for “levels” of noise blocking I’ve tried. Good for levels of focus as long as you don’t need a truly transparent or complete noise blocking levels.

Super easy and super nice looking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars - beautiful case and they actually look nice! We are having construction done in our house right now and the loud noises trigger migraines for me, so these have been a godsend. I can still hear what I need to hear but the banging and sawing is cut way down. Also my husband snores so I have them to wear at night if needed - they work perfectly for that too. I love that it's one earplug with two settings - you just use the removable insert to adjust attenuation without changing products. Without the insert they are rated at 19 dB SNR / 12 dB NRR, and with the insert it's 26 dB SNR / 16 dB NRR, so you can switch settings using one reusable pair. I've been using 19 dB during the day for the construction and then add the insert at night. They are made for concerts and musicians so the high-fidelity filtering lowers overall sound while retaining clearer music and speech detail - I can still have a conversation with them in. The listing says they're suited for festivals, gigs, rehearsals, live venues and loud music events and made for musicians, sound engineers, festival regulars and gig-goers moving between rooms and stages, and I can see why. Flexible protection across every set - use 19 dB for opening acts, acoustic sets and rehearsal spaces and add the insert for headliners, festival mainstages or front-of-stage positions (I will never have to deal with that) They also come with four reusable silicone tip sizes in XS, S, M and L with M pre-installed so you can get a really good fit, and the case is so nice - it's a snug-fit carry case and you can store earplugs and the insert together. Just rinse with mild soap and water and air dry. Super easy and super nice looking. Highly recommend!

Not cheap, but they do seem to work for me so far I got these primarily to use when in bars and restaurants where there's very loud background noise. So far I've tried them in one bar which wasn't too noisy, but I did notice that these made a pleasant difference and had to just reduce the background noise somewhat. They didn't eliminate it completely, but reduced it to a level which was more appealing whilst at the same time still allowing me to conduct a conversation. There is one restaurant that we go to which always seems incredibly loud, and this can make conversation with people sat at the same table a bit of a challenge. I'm looking forward to giving these a go in that particular environment. I did like that these came in a nice container that is suitably small enough to keep in your pocket in readiness for using them. The only criticism I'd have, which is something that seems to happen all the time these days, is that the print in the instruction book is so small that even with glasses on, it's not that easy to read. I think that the manufacturer and seller should realize that their audience for this kind of product is often people of a certain age, and those people will likely not have 20/20 vision, so it would have been nice had the type size been at least 50% bigger to make it easy enough to read without getting out a magnifying glass. Price-wise, these are not cheap, but if they manage to fulfill their purpose, then I feel it's money very well spent. I do like the idea that these have two levels of noise reduction and look forward to putting them to the test over the coming weeks and months.

High Quality and Reliable I need to sleep with earplugs, as due to a sleep apnoea machine there can be a lot of noise in the bedroom. First impressions were very good; I have had earplugs from this brand before, and I was pleased that these came in the same sliding black case and with the same choice of earplug size. These have a certified 26 dB noise reduction, which has been enough for my needs, but it may not be enough for you if you are hoping to block out a very loud noise. With a bit of trial and error I found the right sizes I need (remember that your ears can have two different size needs – I use one large and one standard). I was happy to find that these earplugs actually stayed in my ears all night long, and they are the first to ever do so. The slightly pointed shape may not suit every ear, as about 10% of the time I wake up to a sore ear where the earplug has shifted position slightly in the night. These are £35, which is a lot of money for a set of earplugs; my previous ones were £6, so we’re dealing with nearly a 500% increase in price, and there is only one difference between the two, which is how long they stay in my ear. If the price is not an issue for you, then I can recommend these as being reliable. However, there are other options that are nearly as good for a fraction of the price.

Comfortable and Effective I have trouble in crowds and noisy environments so I wanted to give these noise reduction earplugs a try. First impressions were positive; the earplugs come with three other sizes of silicone tip and a stylish, black, sliding storage case. I love the brass colour of the earplugs. They are comfortable and I don’t notice I am wearing them. They are great for noise reduction and they made a loud restaurant a more comfortable place to be. The only downside is that they do make your own internal voice much louder and some may find this difficult to manage. Though not included I appreciate that they can be paired with a lanyard from the same brand to make sure that they stay safe. I found these to be comparable to better known brands that make similar products. At £21 these are competitively priced and I would recommend them.

Reliable reusable concert ear plugs Using these for a month of loud live band practices and crowded local gigs has really put them through their paces, and while the build quality feels legitimately premium with the sturdy brass core and flexible silicone tips, they aren't completely flawless. Right out of the gate, I noticed that the compact carrying case is a bit frustrating to dig into when your fingers are cold or rushed, often requiring a clumsy scramble to fish the plugs out of their tight little hatch. On the bright side, the comfort during long hours of wear is impressive because the soft silicone tips don't create annoying pressure points in your ears, and cleanup is super straightforward since a quick wipe leaves them fresh after a sweaty session. The dual-level noise reduction system genuinely works as advertised by letting you pop the removable acoustic core in or out to toggle between lighter and heavier sound attenuation depending on how loud the room gets. Price-wise it is fair for what you get, and the overall sturdiness gives me confidence that they will hold up long-term without falling apart. They pack down neatly into your pocket and stay securely in place once fitted properly, though you do have to be mindful not to misplace the tiny core piece when switching modes. Ultimately, they offer reliable hearing protection and solid value for money despite the fussy storage case design.

Fantastic adjustable earplugs These ear plugs are great. With the removable plug thing in, it's on par with the quietest pair I own. With them removed you can still hear most things. It's nice having something adjustable like this. I will say I do prefer the soft rubber ones I have from this same brand even though they are not adjustable. The soft rubber ones are good for sleeping in while these are made of hard plastic and they feel uncomfortable if you were to lay on it. For daytime walking around or doing work, these are fantastic and feel comfortable. The default size of plugs worked well for me but they give you 3 extra sets that you can choose between to match your ear shape. These are worth the price of admission, but I personally would go for either the rubber ones if you're sleeping or the adjustable slide ones if you need something adjustable. Having to take out the little thing in the center and keep them in the case is a bit finicky.

Comfortable earplugs for sleeping or working in a slightly louder environment Reviewed item: earplugs for sleeping. This product includes not only to earplugs, but it also includes a nice hard plastic carrying case which is easy to use and does not fall apart. The product also comes with multiple sets of silicone eartips in different sizes so that you can customize to your ear for the best fit possible. The silicone is very soft and these are easy to use. I did take one star off of this because I had a hard time getting the flat part that sits in the outer ear into a comfortable position and when I got it in to a comfortable position, the silicone ear tip started to come out a little bit. It is important to note that these are certified for 26DB noise reduction, which means that they are not going to be appropriate for all earplug need situations. I would not recommend these for a concert or loud environment. I would recommend them for sleeping or blocking out background noise if you are needing to go somewhere to study or work i.e. a coffee shop.

Perfect for Sleeping If you like in ear earbuds, these are perfect for sleeping. I really like the fit, and the flexible design makes them surprisingly comfortable even when sleeping on your side. Definitely a great option if you want some peace and quiet without sacrificing comfort.

Easy to insert and wear and THEY WORK! I've tried and used a variety of ear plugs. I am a side sleeper and very sensitive to sounds. These plugs are some of the easiest I've used to insert and get a seal to significantly reduce sounds. They are comfortable (some ear plugs just don't work for those of us who sleep on our side) and stay in place through the night. They noticeably block sounds that normally would disturb my sleep. The ear plugs come in a small, hard plastic case that requires a bit of coordination to open. I love this as I can take these with me while traveling and have no concerns about the case accidentally opening. Detailed noise reduction specs are included on the box and there are clear instructions with legible diagrams detailing how to change the size of the tips, clean the tips and how to properly insert them. I think these are a good value for the quality and effectiveness.

Comfortable sleeping ear plugs I’ve been using these ear plugs for sleeping for a few days now, and they’ve made a noticeable difference to my sleep. I’m a light sleeper, so things like snoring, traffic noise, or general household sounds can easily wake me up, but these do a surprisingly good job of taking the edge off without making me feel completely cut off from the world. These are comfortable and lightweight. As a side sleeper, I usually struggle with earplugs becoming uncomfortable after a few hours, but these sit nicely in the ear and don't create a painful pressure that some foam plugs can. The inclusion of four different tip sizes is a great touch and made it easy to find a secure fit. The 26 dB noise reduction is acceptably balanced. It reduces background noise while still allowing me to hear important sounds if needed. They've also been handy when travelling and during focused work sessions. The compact carry case keeps everything tidy and easy to take with me. My only minor criticism is that it took a few nights to get used to finding the right fit, but once I did, they became very comfortable.

Good night sleep. Sleeping ear plugs, how much!? You might say. Well I found these ear plugs for sleeping well worth it. Made with flexible materials are very comfortable for sleeping in and laying on. These block out all high end nosie while allowing you still to hear certain noises including the baby crying. Gives you a change to sleep not in total silence but just everything a notes lower. I found with the choice of ear plugs sizes, I have a good range of fittings for every ear type. The packaging and ear plugs holder are good quality. Good storage and travel container. There are more and more of these sort of ear plugs on the market now, I really enjoyed these just for feel alone.

I used Earmuffz sleep for the first time last night, I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I was worried about two things which are also the reason why I never even tried using the general foam earplugs before. One, that it would irritate my ears overnight, I hate how earbuds I use for music feel in my ears after using them for a few hours, they cause pain and discomfort, so I could not imagine what something like that would do to my ears overnight. Second, worry was that I would not hear my alarm which can ring at any time of the night (also known as my 2 year old on the baby monitor). After hearing a lot about Earmuffz ‘Sleep’ earplugs for sleep, I felt like I needed to give it a go, because I am a light sleeper and even a little bit of disturbance can wake me up. I am happy to report, I had a sound sleep through the night, my ears did not hurt whatsoever and in the morning when my two year old walked over to me and said ‘Mummy’, I heard it very clearly! I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for noise cancelation for better sleep.

High Quality Ear Buds These were higher quality and better made than I was anticipating. They come in a convenient carrying case and has different sized ear buds to fit your ears. They are comfortable to wear and are great for noise cancellation. I wore them to a concert with floor seats so the amplification of sound was very high. These ear buds worked well to muffle the intense sounds around me. I feel the current cost $33 is on par with most higher quality ear buds and feel the quality warrants the price. Overall, these are great earbuds and feel they are worth buying. I’m really impressed.

A premium ear plug experience — filters sound beautifully while keeping conversations audible Having tried a few ear plugs before, the EARMUFFZ caught my attention — and at £29.99 the presentation and quality make a strong case for the price. The unboxing experience sets the tone immediately. The ear plugs arrive housed in their own dedicated case that opens and closes with a deeply satisfying click — a small but considered detail that signals the premium nature of the product from the very first interaction. Fit wise, the default tip size worked comfortably straight away, which is always a reassuring sign. The inclusion of XS, S, M, and L size tips means there is a comfortable fit available for virtually every ear shape and size. The plastic housing is notably firm and may require a little adjustment to find the right position initially, but once the sweet spot is located they sit comfortably and securely without any discomfort during extended wear. The sound filtering performance strikes an impressively practical balance. Rather than blocking out all external noise entirely, they filter the majority of surrounding sounds while still allowing conversations to come through clearly — ideal for busy environments, commuting, or anywhere you want to reduce sensory overload without becoming completely disconnected from the world around you. A well designed and thoughtfully presented ear plug set that offers a genuinely useful and comfortable sound filtering experience.

turns sound down The main thing to note about these is that they aren't really earplugs. The SNR is only 19, compared to the 60 or so you would find in earplugs meant for use in industrial settings. If you're working in a noisy environment and are considering these then be aware they are almost certainly insufficient for PPE use. They are the genuine article and conform to all the standards, but the noise attenuation just is too low for properly noisy environments. So what are they for then? Well, what these do is just turn the volume down. You can still hear everything that you normally could, TV, conversation etc, but the volume is reduced. They just make life a bit quieter. They are comfortable enough to wear all day if you spend some time selecting the correct size so that you get a good fit in your ears, and after a while you don't notice you have them in. If you work from home with other people in the building going about their day they are really good for filtering them out and concentrating on what you're doing. They come in a little case to keep them secure, and there isn't really anything on them to break so they shoujld last a long a time assuming you don't lose them. The obsidean ones are quite subtle in the ear and hard to see so don't look unprofessional in a work environment. At £29 at time of writing they are definitely on the expensive side, but they are marketed as 'premium' and so that is what you are paying for. They do comply with all the standards so you know you are getting a legitimate product and not just some snake oil.

Effective noise reduction whilst maintaining clarity These earplugs seem very similar in design to the Loop noise‑reducing earplugs. From what I can gather, they use a filter to reduce loud background noise while allowing frequencies in the human vocal range to come through clearly. The earplugs come in a nicely presented box and are stored in a spring‑loaded carry case. I feel that EARMUFFZ have missed the mark slightly here, as there’s no way to attach the case to a key ring, phone, or bag. This means you’ll need to retrieve them from a pocket or bag rather than having them immediately to hand. The earplugs come with a set of ear tips already installed, and the box also contains three additional sets in varying sizes. From very large to fairly small ear canal openings, you should find yourself accommodated. The earplugs look good, with a black core running through a smoky, transparent body. At first I wondered how comfortable the triangular shape would be—again, compared with the Loop ear protectors—but I had no problems and found they stayed in place without digging in. Overall, I think these are good value, providing a similar function to much more expensive brand‑name alternatives.

Makes noisy venues bearable Both me and my wife don’t like noisy venues. Places like restaurants and arcades. These ear plugs decreases the noise level to a comfortable level. But at the same time, you can still hear others talking to you very clearly. Using it in the house, it blocks background noise like the low humming noise from the fridge, ticking clocks, minor vibrations. It really provides peace, these are noise that you have learnt to live with. But once using these, you really appreciate them more. I found myself raising my voice when I talk with these on. Similar to using a noise cancelling headphones. The plugs come in a very nice solid case. So you can carry them around and use them when needed. They are a comfortable fit, you also get different sized buds. The price is high. But if you need this, it’s worth it.

Saved my eardrums at a local gig, and they've been going strong since. I'll be honest, I bought these on a bit of a dare. My wife had tickets to see one of her all-time favourite bands, the sort of thing I'd politely describe as "enthusiastic" if I were being generous. Twenty minutes in, I was wincing every time the "musician" decided to push a chord into the stratosphere. Popped these in and, well, it was the difference between being in the front row and mid-distance back. The volume came down noticeably but I could still hear the singer, the banter between songs, the whole thing. That's the 19 dB rating doing its job without turning everything to mush. They're small and light, barely register in your ear once fitted. The Obsidian finish with the black ring looks decent enough that I haven't felt self-conscious pulling them out mid-conversation. The silicone tips are soft without being floppy, and having all four sizes in the box meant I could actually find the one that seals properly. I went with the M, which was pre-fitted, and it's held its shape fine after a couple of rinses. For anyone who needs to muffle a noisy playground, a long family dinner, or yes, a concert you didn't really want to attend, these do the job properly. They're not foam plugs that leave your ears aching after an hour. They filter, they don't block. That distinction matters more than you'd think.

Comfortable and effective without shutting out the world These are very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods, and have a premium finish that feels appropriate for the price. What I particularly like is that they take the edge off loud environments rather than simply blocking everything out. You can still hear conversations and remain aware of what is going on, but the constant crash, bang and general background buzz is reduced considerably. That makes a noticeable difference in environments where prolonged noise can become tiring. They work particularly well at loud music venues, reducing the volume to a much more manageable level while still allowing you to enjoy the music. The two levels of noise reduction give you some flexibility depending on the environment, and the four silicone tip sizes make it easier to find a comfortable fit. At £35 they are not cheap, but the comfort, build quality and effectiveness make them a worthwhile option for regular use around loud environments.

Designed primarily for music and concerts not for a workshop environment I had these to try out in my workshop that I use for woodworking. Some of machines that I sometimes use can be exceptionally loud. So I thought that I would try these out. These Ear Plugs are OK for using in the workshop, But they have their limitations in this environment. They offer dual-level noise protection — 19 dB SNR for general work and up to 26 dB SNR with the removable insert for louder power tools and machinery, they are OK to filter out a some of the nose. These Classic Advanced Ear Plugs offer 26 dB SNR (with the insert), which provides good general noise protection. However, high-pitched machine noise can be particularly challenging to block because higher frequencies require a more secure seal to the ear and sometimes specialized filtering. The product is designed primarily for music, concerts and speech rather than industrial machinery. For your workshop, these may not provide optimal protection against persistent high-pitch sounds, So you might benefit from dedicated hearing protection designed specifically for power tools and machinery. As for echo environments. In an echoes workshop space, they may not perform as well since: High-fidelity filtering is tuned to preserve music and speech detail, not to dampen reverberant spaces Echo and reverberation require acoustic treatment of the environment itself, not just personal ear protection They'll reduce overall volume but won't eliminate the echo effect that bounces around the room. My thoughts are that they are slightly expensive for general use, as in my working environment ,They are really comfy in the ear not too heavy, but you would know if one feel out. Ideal for the theater, or similar venues including the cinema. They are a bit too fiddly for my fingers to keep changing the removable inserts. That is not down to the design, It's down to my fingers. So if you have nimble or delicate fingers then that would be an advantage. That said I fully recommend them maybe not for the work environment if it a noisy one. I suggest that you do your research before ordering them. This review is based on my findings and thoughts and I haven't been influenced by a third party. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope that this has been of some help to you . Highly effective for sensory noise management with flexible attenuation Highly effective for sensory noise management with flexible attenuation I struggle significantly in environments with multiple overlapping noise sources, as competing audio signals quickly lead to sensory overload and make social settings overwhelming. These ear plugs have proven to be an excellent tool for managing sound levels and taking the edge off noisy environments. What makes these particularly useful is the dual-mode acoustic filter design: • Removable Center Filters: By removing or inserting the central acoustic core, you can toggle between a very blunted, higher-attenuation setting and a lighter, more natural dulling of surrounding sound. • Real-World Application: I prefer acoustic music, so when in venues or spaces with non-acoustic or harsh background audio, using these helps drown out the intrusive frequencies while maintaining comfort. Fit, Comfort & Maintenance: • Comfort: Very lightweight and comfortable in the ear for extended wear without causing pressure points. • Cleaning & Durability: Easy to clean and maintain, with strong material quality. • Aesthetics: Subtle, discreet appearance when worn. Packaging & Accessories: • Arrives in well-structured, neat packaging with clear user instructions. • Includes a compact travel case that securely holds the ear plugs along with the removable acoustic inserts so you don't lose them when using a single attenuation setup. The little drawer with the different ear tips in various sizes is very practical and well designed. Verdict: An invaluable tool for sensory sensitivity and noise management. The adjustable attenuation feature makes them far more versatile than standard fixed-attenuation ear plugs. Highly recommended.

Great for gigs and rehearsals These are a solid choice if you want to protect your hearing without muffling the music. The two sets of filters are genuinely useful silver (19dB) for quieter gigs and gold (22dB) for loud venues or drumming. Sound stays clear and balanced, not dull like foam plugs. Comfortable enough for long wear, and the carry case is handy. Just watch the case if you clip it to keys it can unscrew itself and you'll lose them.

They work, but pricey I have used similar much cheaper versions of these that claim to be around 27 dB. They cut a decent amount of sound out, but don't expect a complete cancellation of all noise. The build quality of these, right down to the box they come in, is very good. You can see they're a premium product and I think this is what the price reflects. However, they don't seem to block sound any more efficiently than the ones I had at half this price. They simply look prettier and have a nice box to store them in. They fit well enough, they come with medium plugs attached and you get another box with XS, S, M and L tips, as my left ear cavity is slightly larger than my right, I used an L in the left and M in the right. You can also remove the insert which bring the maximum sound from 26 dB down to 19 dB, but why would you bother? All in all, they're decent quality, but I think that you're actually paying for the premium build, box etc. They're really no better at blocking sound than the cheaper ones I already have.

Good quality and they work well to reduce noise and are comfortable to wear These earplugs come in a very lovely case which makes them ideal to give as a gift or present. They are very neatly packaged too. The thing which really appealed to me was the fact that that you could adjust the number of decibels that you could restrict. You can do this very simply by removing / replacing the inner hoop of the ear plug. The case is big enough that you will not lose it. It fits comfortably into your pocket. The quality of the ear plugs themselves is pretty good. The silicone tips make them comfortable to wear. They feels pretty solid on your hands too. The pack comes with different size silicone tips and so could fit all ear canal sizes and that’s an extra bonus of these earplugs.

Excellent 4-level switch dampening system with premium storage case, tiny compact size!. These little earplugs are quite impressive for their size. The modular design and switch system are very innovative, allowing for quick and easy noise-level customization with options ranging from light sound dampening to more powerful noise reduction. They offer reduction levels ranging from 15 dB, 20 dB, 21 dB & 24 dB SNR, depending on the switch configuration used. I also like how thin and flush they sit inside my ears, I could even sleep with them in comfortably. They fit snugly and stay securely in place. The carrying case is also very cool. A slight press on the back causes it to pop open smoothly, giving it a premium feel and slick appearance. The earplugs themselves are highly customizable, with silicone tips ranging from XS, S, M (default), and L sizes. The sound-dampening insert can be removed for lighter sound isolation, or you can use the slider switch on the insert to select different levels of noise reduction. It's like having several earplugs built into one compact unit. At first, I tried inserting them like typical earbuds with the stems pointing downward, but the correct orientation is to insert them with the stems pointing upward and then rotate them backward into place. Overall I think they are an excellent value. They are reusable, well-built with quality materials, include a storage case and most importantly work well, I couldn't ask for more from an earplug.

Good quality, comfortable hearing protection buds for conversations in crowded areas This review covers two of the Earmuffz hearing protection earbuds, which I ordered at the same time for comparison and to see how they stood up against another name-brand option I own. The first product is the “Complete” model (this item), and the second is the “Adventure” model. Quality-wise, the Earmuffz earbuds are very good. The materials feel durable and smooth, they’re made well with no flaws that I can find, and consistency among the earbud pairs in both appearance and function is spot-on. They’re comparable in construction quality to the other buds my family has been using for years, though materials are slightly different with the other brand feeling more “premium.” There are trade-offs for that, though. The other brand can be slippery at times and though all three can be considered lightweight, that brand feels heavier than the Earmuffz. Granted, they’re still lightweight, but when it comes to wearing buds for hours at a time, even a small amount of weight can impact longevity. Of the three, the Adventure feels the lightest when worn, followed by the Adventure and then brand three. Although all three earbuds have different dampening goals for different environments, they all seem to be equally as effective, as well with my other brand serving as a comparison to both sets of Earmuffz since it’s a hybrid model (bundled with attachments for multiple environments). Please note: noise dampening buds aren’t intended to replace noise cancelling headphones; they dampen certain noise levels or sounds to protect hearing and to highlight other noises, like voices. The highlighted noises can sometimes come across as louder, which is desirable for conversations in noisy environments or to focus on music at a concert. That does, however, make these types of buds a poor choice for an airplane or other areas where dampening all noises is desired. All three pairs come with different sizes of eartips (XS, S, M, L for the Earmuffz) that are easy to swap out, soft, and malleable, and none of them pop off on their own. The cases are also of similar quality, though they have significantly different designs. The Earmuffz cases open by pressing the bottom to slide the case up and open while the other brand has a standard case. Although innovative, I’m not a fan of the Earmuffz case since it opens too easily in my bag. Fortunately, the other difference between the cases is the custom fit for the Earmuffz buds, which keeps them locked into place until intentionally removed. This means that I won’t lose them in my bag even when they pop open. The other buds come out of their case too easily The bottom line on quality and effectiveness is that Earmuffz is a viable alternative to my tried-and-true brand. Given that the Earmuffz are lighter, I’ll reach for them first going forward unless I’m in an environment that has changing needs or unknown variables. In those situations, the other brand makes more sense since I’d have to carry two cases with the Earmuffz. Now, comparing the two sets of Earmuffz: Complete - –These cover 15/20/21/24 dB, which makes them ideal for busy and crowded environments like museums and school open houses since they dampen competing backgrounds while allowing conversations and other similar noises to come through. –The center of these is solid, which is part of their function but that also makes them more visually obvious in the ear and slightly harder to lock into place. –Some of the most comfortable noise dampening earbuds I’ve worn to-date, and for longer periods of time. If it wasn’t for the effect they had on sound, I’d forget I was wearing them. –Expensive. Adventure - –This model covers only 19db and is meant for environments where you need to protect your hearing but want most of the sound to come through, such as at sporting events and concerts. –The center of these is open, which makes them less conspicuous than other options. That design also makes it easier to grip and twist the buds into place. –As mentioned, they’re the lightest of the two Earmuffz models. –Unfortunately, they’re also the most uncomfortable of all three of my earbuds. The most I’ve been able to tolerate is 30 minutes before my ears feel sore. It’s possible this is an issue with my ear shape, but since I have no issues with the other pair of Earmuffz, I suspect it has something to do with the design or plastic. –A reasonable MSRP for good-quality, reusable hearing protection earbuds.

Helps me sleep during the day I use these when I need to sleep during the daytime. I have a baby at home and she can be very loud, so reducing the background noise makes a big difference when I’m trying to get some rest. They don’t completely cut me off from everything, which I actually prefer, but they take the edge off the noise enough for me to settle down more easily. I also like that there are four different noise-reduction levels, from 15 to 24 dB, so they aren’t limited to just one setting. The pack includes four sizes of washable silicone tips as well, which helps with getting a proper fit. They’ve become something I reach for whenever I need a daytime nap.

Effective at reducing external sound I'm not sure what to expect, but I expected a bit more for the money. These are basically earphone buds that block external sounds. There are no electronics in these ear plugs. They are just passive ear plugs with a mechanical slider to adjust the sound blocking level. You have 4 levels of sound blocking and the highest level does do a good job of blocking sound. I found them as effective as the standard foam ear plugs you can buy. The form factor is good too. They don't protrude from your ear, so are comfortable to wear when sleeping. When you are sleeping on your side, you do not feel any additional pressure. The buds are comfortable in your ear canal too. I like that these are reusable and you can swap the size of the buds for the best fit. However, I do think they're a little expensive for what they are.

Classic ear plugs At the time of writing this review, the price is £40.00. These ear plugs feel sturdy and well made, with the brass construction giving them a premium appearance. The four protection levels are useful because the amount of sound reduction can be adjusted for different situations rather than completely blocking everything out. They fit comfortably and are compact enough to carry in a pocket or bag, making them practical for concerts, travelling, studying or noisy environments. Once fitted correctly, they stay securely in place without feeling excessively bulky. Overall, they are a reusable and versatile option for anyone wanting adjustable hearing protection in a durable design.

For those who want less distraction rather than silence These are for turning background noise down, with four different settings, rather than eliminating sound completely. The lowest setting (15dB) gives a mild reduction where you can still hear your surroundings, and the highest (24 dB) substantially muffles surrounding sound and noise. Keeping some environmental sound can be useful when studying or commuting. I am not sure there’s a big difference between the four settings, but I do find that the highest setting muffles music and allows me to still hear speech. They are comfortable to wear and convenient to carry around. The cost does seem on the high side, though not outrageous.

Neat and effective ear plugs that you will forget you are wearing. The ear plugs are neatly packaged and an illustrated instruction leaflet is included but is in very small print. The plastic box that the plugs are in doesn’t pull apart which makes it a bit fiddly to get them out. Four sets of tips are included. It is important to get the right size or they won’t work so well. I have fairly small ear canals so opted for the “s” size which fitted comfortably. The ear plugs themselves are quite small and light and it is easy to forget that you are wearing them. On the surface of each plug there is a slide button and you need to slide that up or down to get the correct amount of noise elimination that you want. Again, it is a touch fiddly but you can do that before you put them in your ears. You don’t always want total noise elimination. For example, if you are expecting a knock on the door or are listening out for children so here you have a choice. They are on the expensive side but I can see why. They are well made, have four different size of ear cones and four different levels of sound elimination. I couldn’t see that this company sold replacement cones and they do wear out so some research may be needed to get the correct size to fit on the plugs plus fits properly into your ear. Very good ear plugs that work well. Recommended.

Doesn't block sound, but turns the volume down. I was all prepared to really hate these earplugs but having tried them I have to admit I'm actually quite impressed with them. The only sticking point is that price, as £44 seems a bit exortionate. That aside, these work really well. The first thing to realise is that these are not really hearing protection. I work in a noisy environment and wear those cheap disposable plugs at work and they are rated to aound 60SNR. They pretty much totally block all sound to protect my hearing. These plugs don't do that, and are not rated anywhere near high enough to be usable in industrial environments. They do conform to EN352, so they are genuine article, but the SNR level is too low for using them for serious hearing protection. But, that's not what they are for. These plugs don't block sound but what they do instead is turn it down. You can still hear normally but the volume is turned down. You can have conversations with them in and still be aware of your surroundings but everything is just quieter. If you work at home with other people in the house, or you have an open plan office where it seems everyone has to shout at each other, or noisy neighbours then they are absolutely brilliant. Every intrusive noise just fades away to background and you can concentrate on what you're doing. They come is a rigid plastic case to keep them safe and there are set of different plug bits for different sized ears. You put them into your ears and the wing part tucks behind the folds of your ears to keep them in place. They are tremendously comfortable and assuming you're picked the correct sized plug you quickly forget you are wearing them as you don't have that 'closed off' claustrophbic sensation you get with noise-blocking plugs. There is a plastic slider on the outside that you can move to three different positions to adjust the amount of sound blocking. I could barely detect any difference between the different levels so I'm not very convinced of the usefullness of this but its fun to play with. They look good too, the brass and white plastic making them look more like jewellery than PPE. I'm really surprised at how useful these are and how effective they are too and I'm wearing them as I type this to block the racket coming from someone mowing the lawn four doors down with the worlds noisest petrol mower. I can still hear them, but they appear to be mowing quietly which is lovely. That price though, ouch...

Comfortable to wear I really like these, just what I need when I’m in the play gym with the kids and my laptop when I’m trying to do a little work without the background noise! Lovely storage compartment and they are comfortable to wear for whatever duration. They feel and look nice and I would recommend yeah 👍

good but expensive! These ear plugs are entirely non-electronic. They don't need recharging or anything like that. There is a manual slider on the back on the ear plugs to change from "open mod" to more sound-blocking modes (ranging from 20dB to 24dB attenuation). The earplugs come in a snazzy box, with 4 silicone head sizes: XS, S, M, L. The Medium size is fitted onto the ear plugs when they arrive and the other sizes are in the box. These work well as ear plugs. You have to fit them properly. You know they're properly in when you speak and you own voice sounds louder in your head. They are quite expensive for ear plugs - though they do offer more customization than your average ear plugs.

Great for what it is My wife has an issue where she needs to wear ear plugs a lot. Usually, when she’s not wearing them, they go in a pocket or a little plastic baggy. So, when this case popped up, I had to jump at it. Overall, this case works great. The spring loaded slide works better than I would have thought and I find myself sometimes using it as a fidget toy, sliding the tray in and out. I particularly like the rubberized material lining the case and think that this is going to be easy to keep clean. Everything about this case is great save for one thing … the price. $19 for this case (the price currently listed on Amazon) seems awfully steep for what you’re getting and I’m sure there are cheaper available options. All of that said, I’m really happy to have this and think it’s going to be really useful. Even though my wife isn’t using a set of Earmuffz plugs, this case will work great for the plugs she’s currently using. If this were half the price, I’d wholeheartedly recommend it but, for the current price, I’d suggest doing a little more research before buying. But, if you decide to get this, you won’t be disappointed.

The EarMuffz Neck Strap is a great addition, particularly when using the earplugs while out cycling. I like the fact that I can simply let the earplugs hang around my neck rather than having to find somewhere to put them when I want a break from wearing them without the fear of losing them.
I would definitely recommend using them.
